RATE OF STAMP DUTY

*1260. SH. KARAN SINGH DALAL, M.L.A. : Will the Minister of State for Revenue and Disaster Management be pleased to state :-

a) the rate of Stamp Duty charged on the registration of Mortgage Deeds for obtaining loans for Agricultural purposes from Commercial and Cooperative Banks; and

b) the rationale of difference in exemption from Stamp Duty on Mortgage Deeds for various purposes of Agricultural loans from Commercial Banks and Cooperative Banks?
