MAINTENANCE OF TAILS OF DISTRIBUTORIES/MINORS

*1169. SH. TEJENDRA PAL SINGH MANN, M.L.A. : Will the Irrigation Minister be pleased to state:-

a) the remedial measures taken by the Government to ensure the maintenance of tails of various distrbutories and minors specially in district Kaithal; and

b) whether there is any proposal to involve the police on a regular basis for night patrol to check the theft of canal water in higher reaches?
