LIST OF BUSINESS FOR THE MEETING OF THE HARYANA VIDHAN SABHA TO BE HELD IN THE HALL OF THE HARYANA VIDHAN SABHA, VIDHAN BHAWAN, CHANDIGARH, ON THURSDAY, THE 15TH MARCH, 2007 AT 9.30 A.M.

II.        NON-OFFICIAL RESOLUTIONS.

1.

SHRI NIRMAL SINGH, M.L.A.

“Sikhs in Haryana have always aspired for self regulation of their religious affairs and all religious institutions including Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC). A separate SGPC has been constituted in the State of Delhi also.

        I, therefore, urge upon this House to resolve that Sikhs in Haryana must get a reflection of their aspirations for a right of Self Governance of their religious institutions through carving out a separate Haryana Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee by enactment of a law envisaging control of all Gurudwaras and other religious institutions.”

“This House express its deep concern over the situation arising due to continuously decreasing production rate of agricultural produce.

         This House, therefore, recommends to the State Government to take effective steps for implementing the scheme for providing technical knowledge to the farmers of the State for obtaining production rate as equal to the production rate of scientific laboratories.”

Dr.  SUSHIL INDORA, M.L.A.

“This House express its deep concern over the large scale of migration towards the urban areas due to continuously increasing unemployment in the rural areas of the State.

        This House, therefore, recommends to the State Government to take effective steps for implementing the scheme of new Cottage Industrial Policy for promoting the establishment of agricultural based Cottage Industries in the State.”

Dr. SUSHIL INDORA, M.L.A.

“This House express its deep concern over the poor system of education in the State.

        This House, therefore, recommends to the State Government to open primary schools within the distance of half kilometre of each group of small villages (Dhanies) of the State.”.
