to move that the provisions of Rules 231, 233, 235 and 270 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Haryana Legislative Assembly in-so-far as they relate to the constitution of the :-

i)          Committee on Public Accounts;

ii)         Committee on Estimates;

iii)         Committee on Public Undertakings; and

iv)        Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled 

            Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward 

            Classes,

            for the year 2007-2008 be suspended.

 

to move that this House authorizes the Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, to nominate the Members of the aforesaid Committees for the year 2007-2008, keeping in view the proportionate strength of various parties/groups in the House.

 

 

III.       RESUMPTION OF DISCUSSION ON THE GOVERNOR’S ADDRESS

 

RESUMPTION of discussion on the following motion moved by Shri Karan Singh Dalal, M.L.A. on the 12th March, 2007, namely :-

“That an address be presented to the Governor in the following terms :-

 

‘That the Members of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha assembled in this Session are deeply grateful to the Governor for the Address which he has been pleased to deliver to the House on the 9th March, 2007 at 2.00 P.M.’.”.
